The Jones Mountain Twin has been a favorite for a long time, and there’s a pretty simple reason why: it’s one of those snowboards that works just about anywhere on the mountain. Groomers, trees, side hits, park laps, powder days, cruising with friends. If you want one board that can handle a little bit of everything, the Mountain Twin is hard to beat.

Its directional twin shape gives it a balanced, freestyle-friendly feel while still having enough direction to feel comfortable when you’re carving or riding deeper snow. Jones’ CamRock profile puts camber between the bindings for edge hold, response and pop, with rocker in the nose and tail to keep it forgiving and help it float when conditions get soft. The Medium 3D Contour Base smooths out turn initiation, while Traction Tech adds some extra bite when the snow gets firm.

The medium flex is a big part of what makes the Mountain Twin so easy to get along with. It’s supportive enough to ride fast and lay into a turn without becoming overly demanding, but still playful enough to hit side hits, ride switch and mess around all over the mountain. A lightweight poplar and paulownia Master Core keeps it lively, while carbon/flax stringers add response and help calm down chatter when things get rough.
